Baseball and Wiffleball

Yes! ESPN.com just did a special report on Yu Darvish! It would be awesome to see him a Cubs uniform. He would be perfect for the MLB. Lots of potential, young, talented, and half-Iranian.


Did you guys hear that Dice-K threw his gyroball over the weekend against the Twins? He hasn’t thrown the gyro since he’s got to the States, but reports are the he threw it against Joe Mauer. Here’s a clip of it.



DLAAB XWB!!! That wasn’t the gyroball, that was more like the “ultimate changeup,” Dice-K followed that pitch with a fastball which much of looked like 150 mph heat.

Here’s the eephus pitch, also known as the “floater” or the “folly floater” or that pitch from that movie “Rookie of the Year” with that one kid that looks like that kid from the Karate Kid right?



Or how about this pitch? I love it! I could totally see Peter trying to strike us out with this pitch.



But I think Vern’s been onto something with wanting to build his wiffleball stadium over the past couple of years. Check out this video:



It’s a wiffle ball with a marble in it.

I’m not too sure what’s going on for my bachelor party, I’ve heard a constructed Magic tourney, I’ve heard fishing, but let me throw in one more “I’ve heard” into the mix, I’ve heard that we might play an extreme game of wiffleball! There’s nothing like a three-inning game of wiffle ball before the sun goes down.



This guy’s stuff is filthy! (...and soon, my stuff will be as well!)

So there you have it! Everybody’s got two weeks to get their fishing tackle ready, a constructed deck built, and their wiffleball pitches down. (I’m just joking, if we don’t do anything I’ll be fine with it, just having all my friends and family up here is more than I could ever ask for.)
