My List of Likes

Okay so my wife's list of likes has inspired me to start my own.

This commercial is halarious! This is how I honestly feel like when I play Call of Duty. I like how it says "Mamba" on Kobe Bryant's grenade launcher and how it says "Proud Noob" on Jimmy Kimmel's bazooka, which is true! Only a noob would use a bazooka in close-range urban terrain, hahaha! I don't plan on buying this game though, I just don't have enough time to play it. Oh yeah, and that Rolling Stones song in the background is solid too!

The Alt de Facto JM6. Rarely does a guitar catch my fancy, but this guy did. I love that Jaguar body, those P90s, that Bigsby tremolo, and that duo-colored headstock! Nice!

I finally found a company that sells kits for true bypass loopers! Sweet! Thanks RoadRageProGear.com! I've found some schematics online but am too lazy to buy all the individual parts and drill all the holes.

I think I've found my next tuner. I was tempted to get the new Boss TU-3, until I saw this guy. All you have to do is literally strum all the strings on your guitar at once. This tuner will pickup the individual strings and tell you which strings are flat or sharp. No longer will you have to tune all the strings individually! Neato!

I've really been getting back into guitar gear and playing the guitar as of late. I really want to get a better amp and rebuild my board. Here's a video of Justin Sharbono's board. Justin used to play for SuperChic[k], the Swift, and Wyclef Jean. Now he regularly plays for churches in the Twin Cities area including Church of the Open Door and Upper Room.

I've been thinking about painting my Pedaltrain pedal board. Right now it's black, I'm thinking maybe a nice pearl white like this pedal below:

What do you guys think? As long as I can find that color in a spray paint can, I can make my pedalboard that color with a few coats of varnish on top of it. I was thinking about lime green or something sparkly but I'm afraid it might clash with a lot of church stages.

Who likes free stuff? Well, Girl Talk's new album is completely free here: http://www.illegal-art.net/allday/. This guy is so freaking creative that it blows my mind! It's great workout music too! I honestly do believe that free music is the future of music! Just a warning! Some of the songs are vulgar, like most Top40 radio stations.

This is by far, one of the coolest funerals I've ever seen. If the video below doesn't work then click on this link.

I love the community I see in this video. Hundreds of people paddling out into the ocean to surround a boat with Andy Iron's brother, mom, dad, and 7-month pregnant wife. All the while celebrating Andy Iron's life and legacy. I loved how the helicopter dropped the flower pedals and that there were even more people on shore, as well as thousands all over the world doing a "paddle out" ceremoney of their own at the same time to honor this man. Mahalo Andy Irons, mahalo!

Have a great weekend everyone! Stay warm & live greatly!
