I really want to see this documentary! This guy is one of my new heroes!
In his early 50's, Dick retired and moved to Alaska. He had simple tools that allowed him to make make chairs, tables, a bed, a log cabin, a simple fridge, a fireplace, etc. He hunted, planted, and gathered to survive. He recorded the majority of this footage by himself and at the age of 81 he returned home to California.
