Dan Merchant presents a very good question: "Why is the Gospel of Love dividing America?"I watched this movie a few months back and it was awesome! It was really challenging and made me think a lot of what I knew about the church. There were many moments where I had to pause the movie and just think, there were times where I was completely shocked, and times where I cried a little.
I love Ann Lemont's quote in the begining of the movie:
"You can tell you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do."
There's a confession booth scene in this movie, taken right out of Blue Like Jazz, that gets to me every time. You gotta love Love and forgiveness!
