dreaming of france

i have the best husband ever! he sent me this text awhile back of his "smiling" orange on his desk. he always tries his best to make me happy and bring me up when im feeling down.

this is a bracelet i recently bought from ann taylor loft. i love it! i LOVE statement pieces of jewelry. i pretty much love all fashion hehe. i got it on sale too, which makes a great purchase even better.

this is my nephew, chuseng. he's such a happy baby who loves sticking his fist in his mouth. hehe. he's a good boy who doesn't cry very much. he loves being held and has ticklish feet.

this is xuying making a scary face at auntie pajjar! he's very silly and loves acting like a ninja. he also likes making funnie/crazy faces, which im pretty sure he got from his mom haha.

FRENCH WEDDING

check out this french wedding at www.stylemepretty.com for all the pics. this wedding was held in the south of france and i absolutely love it! i love the purple fields, the bride's hair, and how casually dressed the ringbearer and flower girls are. i particularly love how the ringbearer looks so sharp, yet kinda has that farmboyish look to him. so cute! :)

i think i really will need to retire in france one day. id love to buy a small cottage, wake up and drink coffee with croissants, eat cheese and drink wine everyday. i'd walk down to the local boutiques and shops for my groceries. borrow books from the bibliotheque just like belle in "beauty in the beast." i LOVE reading!!! hehe. doesn't that sound amazing? some day, guys, some day. j'habiterai en france un jour! i just have to talk johan into it. hehe. i mean they have protours in paris, rite?!

when i graduated from college, my dad suggested that i take a year off and live in france with our relatives. gosh, it sounded so appealing to me, but i thought then that i should try to find a job and do the conventional "college graduate" thing. now as i look back on it, i wish i would have taken advantage of my free time then because it's a lot harder to travel now when you have to pay bills and you're married. one day i'll make it there and visit all the things i've been waiting to see since high school: the champs-elysees and arc de triomphe, notre dame, versailles, the eiffel tower, and the louvre.

please take me one day, johan! hehe.
