So we've been talking a lot about having kids lately. I love seeing my nephews & nieces that I do get to see and I desperately miss them when I don't get to see them. On the way back from church last Sunday we were talking about different discipline techniques and I got excited that one day, I will have a kid of my own to test these techniques on. I guess this is one way of knowing that you're ready and wnat to have a kid, when you develop a plan to discipline them and can't wait to see it in action. :)
One thing I want to share with my kids, especially when they're from the ages 2-8 is music, if I had a kid of my own today, I would share with him/her/them the Avett Brothers. They had a new live CD & DVD come out last week and is sold out at all of the Best Buys and Targets in the area, according to their websites.
It's amazing how many families (mom, dad, kids, & relatives) go to these guys shows. It's always cool to see a dad holding his kid's hands as they dance at their live shows.
