Woo hoo! We just finished the Future Sight draft and it was a keeper! It came down to Tubs and I. Tubs is definitely this year’s “Most Improved Player!” He won the last draft and made it to the finals in this draft. I believe Blong, Tubs, and Second were 5-3 after four rounds of 2 games. Vern and I were 6-2, but Vern and Chong had to leave because they had a meeting to get to. So in the semifinals I defeated Second and Tubs defeated Blong. And in the final match, I beat Tubs in two games to claim my prize! 2 PACKS OF FUTURE SIGHT! No Tarmogoyfs were drawn but Cheng did a get a r/g pain land and a Magnus of the Moon. Nice!
Overall, it was a great draft. We ate nachos and drank Coke Zero. Plus Pajjar got to hang out with Pan Nga and Samsona, which makes me happy a husband!
Here were some of cards in my deck:
2 Chronomatic Escape – when both are being suspend at the same time, it's just too unfair
1 Arc Blade – 2 damage every three turns
2 Death Rattle – creature removal
2 Gathgan Raiders – I had a lot of instants and sorceries, my goals was to topdeck
3 Riddle of Lightning – more creature removal, plus Scry 3
1 Sparkspitter & 1 Skirk Ridge Exhumer – which helped my Gathgan Raiders
2 Stronghold Rats – Shadow, hand disruption, and helps my Gathgan Raiders again
Overall my deck had great synergy and my night was great! I love my wife!
