its may!

for the month of may johan and i decided that each week we would post a few pictures from our wedding. may is our one year anniversary of when we got married, so we want to reflect on our special day. =) to begin our one month reflections, we HAD to start with our engagement photos of course! they're pretty hilarious, but they bring back wonderful memories.


this first picture was the one we had framed at the wedding with our parents photos along with the wishing trees. its my favorite photo because i love the lighting and we both actually look good. =) haha. johan and i quickly learned that we suck at candid photos, so most of these are portraits or pictures that we posed for. thank goodness we're not models because we would be pretty horrible models lol.


the second picture reminds me of those french black and white photos hehe. it must be the window pane and lighting of the photograph. the more that i look at this picture, the more that i like it....we should print it in black and white hehe!



i dont know why i picked the third photo. lol. this was one of our last photos towards the end of the day and we were pretty tired of smiling and posing by this time. rite before this photo we were pretending to bake cookies, but since none of them turned out rite i didn't post any of them haha.


the last photo was when we were sitting in the little cafe. it was during winter so we were sipping hot cocoa and sitting in a booth. i like the brick walls and how we're looking intently at each other.


i cant wait to go through these photos and remember falling in love with johan all over again. we had our rough times, but so far marriage has been amazing! i love you hun!
