Sorry we haven’t updated in like a week! Pajjar and I went to New York, Boston, & Providence over the weekend. Her younger brother, Ho-Shia, graduated from Brown University. WE’RE SO STINKING PROUD OF HIM! This is a quick update but we promise to put up pictures soon.
We left Wednesday afternoon and got into New York around 9 pm. We met up with Pajjar’s sister, Mitchia and her husband Yao in Time Square. We walked around, did some sightseeing, grabbed some dinner, and got back to the hotel around 1 am.
Thursday we did a lot of walking and sightseeing. My feet were killing me! Also saw Terminator Salvation FOR $12.50 PER TICKET, but it was worth it, not because it was a good movie, it was, but because it was nice to sit down for 2 plus hours.
Friday we did some more sightseeing and then took an Amtrak to Providence, RI where we met up with Ho-Shia. We picked up our rental, checked into our hotel, and grabbed some dinner at a Thai Restaurant with Ho-Shia, Martin, and Bao (Ho-Seng’s girlfriend. Yes, there are a few Hmong people who go to Brown). Ho-Shia showed us around the Brown campus, which was really cool! Went to Dave and Buster’s and then back to the Hotel.
Early Saturday morning, the rest of family arrived (Mom, Dad, Ho-Seng, Ho-Xav, & Taying). We hung out for a little bit and then headed into Boston. We were only there for a few hours because people’s feet started to hurt. Mom also bought like 20lbs of crab, which we ate for dinner. The whole family then went to go watch Star Trek, which was awesome! My favorite movie of the summer so far!
Sunday was the graduation and a buffet.
Monday morning we left Providence and arrived back in MN around noon. Went to go visit Jason, Gao Jai, and baby Xuying. Went home, unpacked, and met up with Kelvin and Katie for dinner. Kelvin’s going back to Vancouver for a couple of months.
Tuesday, I had work and school, while Pajjar had her clerkship and then had to work.
I’ve been itching to draft! I have 13 boosters and 11 tix on MOTO and like 2 packs of Alara, 2 packs of Conflux, and 3 packs of Reborn sitting at home.
