welcome chuseng!!!!!!!!!

its been a week since my beautiful nephew, chuseng silas yang, was born! he was 7 lbs and 20 inches long. isn't he soo cute?! i was particularly happy because now our family has a may birthday. hehe. everyone in my family was born in each month except: may, october, and december. now we have a may birthday! hehe. i love the way babies smell. so fresh and clean. God is so amazing how He creates a life inside us. it just blows my mind away! i can't wait to see how he grows up. i think and secretly hope that he'll look like our side of the family hehe. he's already got the big thao nose and big feet like my brothers!

now my sister gaojai and jason have 2 kids, and my sister mitchia and i still have zero. hehe. johan and i are thinking maybe we might try next year. i know theres really no perfect time to have kids, but we aren't quite there yet. however, we are nearing 30 and we dont want to wait much longer either. one of our problems is not having any1 to babysit...not having our parents or family near by makes it hard for us since we both have 9-5 jobs and we definitely don't have money for daycare. we'll see where God leads us! =D

on saturday johan and i went to cheer on my brother, hoseng, and his team, witness. it was pretty fun, although the weather was super cold and windy. his team did really well that day and advanced to the next day. on sunday, they won 1 game and lost 1. johan and i were surprised at how many people were there at the football tournament. it was held at my old high school coincidentally. =)





it was kinda sad on sunday cuz it was mother's day and both of our mom's live in different states. =( we called them and wished them a happy mother's day, but its not the same, is it? its hard without family here. i missed my brothers A LOT that day too. and this might sound strange having just said that statement, but sometimes johan and i think about moving georgia. hehe. we love northpoint ministries and pastor andy stanley so much that we wonder and dream about wat it'd be like to move down there.



with a lot of friends and the majority of our family here, there are a lot of distractions. good and bad. sometimes we wonder wat it'd be like to be lonely...? to have so much time on our hands that we'd be forced to spend our time getting to know each other so well that we might drive each other crazy?!! haha. maybe we'd have more time to spend on our hobbies and on things that we put off and procrastinate about. i bet josh and maikao would have a lot of input about having to get to know each other better since they've been alone in shanghai for the last 2 years. =)

well its getting late and im gonna try to go to bed. johans watching "gearmandude" videos aka jack black's videos. =) thats all hes been watching lately. hehe. have a good nite, friends!
