Have I read my chapter of Proverbs for the day?

Proverbs has 31 chapters in it. In most months, that's one chapter per day. I try to read my Bible regularly and Proverbs helps. So does having a small Bible on my bedside table and having a Bible on my iPod Touch

Responsibility is keeping the promises you make to other people, and commitment is the act of making promises, but discipline is the ability to keep those promises once you've made them to yourself. When you start breaking those promises that you make to yourself, we begin thinking less of ourselves and our ability to keep promises and we start to think less of our ability or worthiness to have promises made to us be kept. It lowers our own self-esteem.

Every day it's a struggle to just remember these words: character, ingrity, intimacy, discipline, responsibility, & commitment. But I try to pray everyday that I understand these words greater and that I can work them into my life.
