do i dare to dream?

im SOOO sick of this snow and cold!!!! *grrrr!* i want to be somewhere that's sunny, preferably somewhere by the beach. secretly behind johan's back i've been looking up travel deals to california or hawaii to see if there are any good deals that we could go jump on for a weekend. lol! my friend wants us to go on a cruise with her and her boyfriend--and as scared as i am that titatic II will happen--i am so desperate to go somewhere warm that i am actually considering it. haha. finally, i've been asking johan to see if we could move to california or atlanta. you know, places that are warm year-round and if we got snow it'd be like a huge catastrophe! i just want to see the sun you guys!

*sigh* oh Lord, give me the strength to survive this cold and long winter! i am going to think warm thoughts and pray that spring comes sooner than later. these are shoes i found to help me get excited about the spring kekeke.

aren't they so cute? i have to promise myself that i'll wear more fun wedges this summer because all i wore last summer were flat strappy sandals.

i also found this lace cuff bracelet that i couldn't resist to put up on my blog. it's by aurelie bidermann and i think it's a few thousand dollars. im too poor to ever own it, but maybe i can find a cheaper version somewhere! hehe.



so i decided to look on GQ's website last week for fashion ideas for men. most of us women wish that our significant others would put more thought into how they dress, rite? it was hilarious, but today johan and i saw a father pushing a baby stroller and on top he looked so put together with a button-down shirt. however, as he walked past us we realized that he was wearing grey sweat pants! dang! lol. we laffed about it, but then i also said i felt bad for him because that's probably how hard it is to be a parent! you dont even care how put together you look like on the outside because kids are that much of a handful. i mean, i believe it! i babysat my nephews for a day and i didn't brush my teeth till 4pm when johan came home. haha. and they weren't even being naughty or anything! they were just being normal kids!

okay, so back to where i was heading with this blog, was that i'd like to see the men in our lives take a little more care of themselves if they could. it's not that hard. just put a little more thought into what you choose to wear each morning. if you like how certain men dress, try to copy them! if you see an outfit that you like on a mannequin, try to emulate it. on GQ this photographer took pictures of everyday French men in Paris and these were some of my favorites:





these two older guys look so kool. hehe. *sigh* it may never happen for us women. but at least we could dream!!! lol.

just like how im dreaming of the warm sun hitting my skin instead of this snow that's falling outside tonite... =) *sigh*
