it all started a couple weeks ago when sarah, lig, linda, samsona and i went to dinner at christos greek restaurant at the st. paul union depot. there was a wedding going on at the time, so we got to witness the reception. it was a beautiful hall!

and then with everyone getting engaged and married around us ive been dreaming of all the details like flowers, dresses, invitations, hehe. my friend has been asking me for help with her wedding too, so its been on my mind to say the least. so far, johan and i have 3 weddings to attend this year:
--->my good friend mayuko & lloyce's wedding in philly. she was one of my bridesmaids. we've been friends since college. they're getting married outside in a park and are catering their wedding to their interests and personalities. for example, their centerpieces are going to be robots! hehe, so cute.
--->my cousin charlene & billy! man they've been dating for 10 years and decided to finally get married this year. the wedding will be here in MN. don't know where the venue will be yet, but im so excited for them!
--->my friend kingsley & myra in pasadena, CA. yes! we get to go to cali! hehe. kingsley and i have been friends since law school. we studied a lot together! johans never been to LA, so we will have to do the whole hollywood thing.
then we know 4 couples who got engaged around valentines day:
-kia & ed--many of you know kia because she dated nhia back in the day
-pao & pang--pao and i went to law school together
-isiah & lia of course
-and then leng & rachel surprised us all by getting married hehe
(we are hoping to meet the new mrs. leng soon!)
i love weddings like most girls and wish johan and i had enuff money to get married every year like heidi klum & seal. every year i'd have a different theme! =)

i really wanted an outdoor wedding where you could string lights in the trees and have dinner outside underneath the stars with the breeze and some light music. outdoor weddings r pretty expensive ive learned!

i love the look of having the bridesmaids wear something different from each other. im still sooo glad i did that with my own bridesmaids. the same dress doesn't always look good on different body figures and i enjoyed seeing my bridesmaids pick a dress that suited their personality best.
besides checking out wedding sites, ive been studying as usual. ive been going back and forth about postponing my exam because im sooo stressed out about taking it. i mean wouldn't u be worried about a 2 day exam with 16 different subjects you're supposed to be knowledgeable about??! *sigh* but its next week, so i figure i will just buckle down and take it. my husband has been ultra supportive, so how can i disregard and overlook all of his encouragement? he doesn't care if i take it now or later; he just wants me to believe in myself...thanks hunnie!
im looking forward to tomorrow nite! it'll be my first break in a long time! anna & cheng invited us to go watch valentine's day with them. =) i miss talking to people and hanging out with people. hehe. i just spent the last 9 hours in front of a laptop. *sigh*
i can't wait to have my life back a week from today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, yes, we do have a lot of weddings to go to this summer. Hopefully there aren't going to be any conflics with dates but we'll see. Aren't you happy you married me? Ever since we've been married, we've traveled to Las Vegas, Boston, New York, Chicago, & Florida. DANG!!!

me too! i wished that i can do my wedding every year too. :) that’d be awesome. I agree w/ you on the dresses. I wanted my girls to wear different dresses… but Pheng being more of an “old school” type of guy wanted the girls to all wear the same dresses… hehe. but it’s all good. :)
