Last Friday Johan and I had the honor of having my law school friends and significant others come to our small home and make dinner for us. We had pho, wine, cake, and ice cream! It was such a joyous time for me to just sit around (thanks to My and Maisue who worked tirelessly in the kitchen) and enjoy my friends’ presence. Johan and I felt so blessed and honored to have all of you there. Thank you so much for the food and fun! We ended up eating the pho all weekend and finished it all on Sunday! Haha.
My Lee, Alex, and Jaden-Thank you for all the cooking and preparing you did that night. It was fun hanging out with the kids! I hope they can come over one day soon and go swimming with me!
Kingsley-Johan and I both commented on how good it was to see you. Come up for air sometimes from the library and give us a call! We need to do a lunch at Tandoor soon—I volunteer right by there on American Blvd! All of the wine tasted sweet and light too.
Pao-Johan always has fun hanging out with you. Hehe. I hope you get the job at Thomson Reuters. Sad that you’ll be leaving us soon! Btw, the cake was so delicious! It was super moist and not sugary at all.
Pang-I’m so glad that you came too! It was great getting to know you better. I hope we’ll be spending more time like this in the future. You know what I’m thinking of: we need to find a man for Maisue! Jk!
Maisue-Thanks for your openness that night hehe. I know we picked on you a lot, but it’s all out of love. Thank you for inviting everyone over, it was an awesome night! (Please invite yourself over more often hehe.)
Mai Neng-I’m disappointed that you came….ALONE…. :P I just wished we could have met your boyfriend! Let’s do sushi soon so that we can meet him.
Jackie-Thank you so much for the lovely flowers and wine. Your wisdom of being married for 30 years was extremely helpful and humbling. I can’t wait to do the next dinner at your house!
Again thank you for all the time and money you all spent on us. Johan and I truly felt so blessed that night for having such wonderful friends. We hope that we can provide the same kind of friendship to you all in the future.

thanks johan!! yea i was gunna ask you about that. I know you're coming down this weekend. Are you coming down next weekend as well? If not, then we'll be coming up for sure! And if that's the case, then I may just jump in w/ a deck :D cool man!
And for Quick N' toast. It's a pretty sweet + powerful deck! I took mine apart, but I loved it while it was put together! (i only took it apart to explore other options!) thumbs up!
