Labor Day Weekend

Here are some pictures from Pajjar and my weekend in MI, but some random thoughts first.

I’m glad that my in-laws are up there. Times were hard for them because my mom had to work and her body ached and my dad was working part-time for Crown College, trying to find keep the family afloat. But now my dad is working full-time in a field that he is passionate about and my mom is able to stay home and take care of the family. Thank you God for working this out!

Warren, MI pretty cool. I know Detroit gets a bad rap but Warren reminds me of certain parts of Aurora. Plus, everybody lives near each other and everyone seemed really nice.

MI has Steak and Shake!

We ate so much this past weekend. Seriously, we went to McDonalds twice, Hardee's, a Chinese buffet, a Chinese restaurant, pho at the camp grounds, pho at home.

Everyone at the Warren Church was really nice! It's a nice older building but I believe they only have 1 year left on the church mortgage, so that's good news. Plus, I have lots of relatives who go to that church, so that's also very cool!

The basement in the house is huge, there's another kitchen, dinning room, living room, bedroom and full bath downstairs! It's pretty crazy how big this house is.

Taying (wearing a Thomas the Tank Engine shirt with blue shorts with sharks on them and green swimming goggles with sharks on them, TOO CUTE!), my mother-in-law, my super smart younger brother-in-law (seriously, last year he scored a 94 and 96 in reading and math in those statewide assessment exams).

Taying trying to stick his fist into a hole (note that he’s wearing a grey shirt with a shark on it, this kid must love sharks).

Prayer before we eat pho at the camp grounds.

Front of house.

Front of house again.

Me in front of the house.

OMG! The house looks really nice. Sorry, I haven't talked to you guys for so long. It's so weird, I was so busy this summer and now it's school time. I hope that all things are well. Take care. God Bless.
