to challenge some of you readers (or non-readers) out there, take a look at "the myth of a christian nation" by greg boyd. i HIGHLY recommend it. during this presidential process, i am reminded that God is neither republican nor democrat. this country was not and never has been a christian nation. like pastor dave said this sunday, i dont understand all the people who want prayer in schools or utter words like: "let's take this nation back for God!"
to the contrary, Jesus has said the exact opposite:
"My kingdom is not from this world." John 18:36
hmmm.....let's sit on that one for a while..........
random thought: an example of what johan n i have been eating as poor students: toasted cheese sandwiches with eggs and turkey. theyre actually pretty good! hahaha.
