Ramadan, Diversity, IL, Praise and Worship, M:TG, & The Renewed Mind

Hey guys, tonight is the first night of Ramadan! There’s an event at MSU tonight, but there’s no more reservations. One reason why I like MSU is the diversity! There are always Somalis, other Hmong students, Muslims, immigrants from the former Solviet Union, and my straight-up Caucasian friends that drive huge pickup trucks from northern Minnesota. There are also students who are returning back to school after being out of it for the past 20 years, transfer students, and typical 18-19 year old freshmen. The diversity is great! God is great!

This past weekend was great! Practice went well, the songs sounded better and better every time we played them. I really, really, really missed my wife! I accidentally called some people "hun!" Ack! I got to eat some Portillo’s! *heaven* And I got to play a lot of Magic. I got to tweak my decks for this upcoming Standard tournament this weekend. I might go Kithkin with 2 of my favorite Kithkins: 2 CHAMELEON COLOSSUS!!! AH HAHAHAHAHAHA! Or might go Quick ‘n Toast (which is a horrible name for this deck). I just need a couple of cards and I’ll be set!!!

Oh snap! The Renewed Mind is the Key!!!

You have to check out the Soup’s clip, it’s hilarious:
