Tomorrow I go in to finish up some paperwork for my new job at SRC. They're a non-profit organization that helps people make sure that their home is livable. We help people, mainly of lower income, fix leaky windows that make their family sick and raise their heating bill. They would fix it if possible, but you see, all their money is going to their medical and heating bill. You see, their home is not technically livable.
But that's not all! They also help people deal with getting their homes ready for winter, lead paint, anything related to your home and family. It's pretty cool, I look at it as if I'm doing something to help the poor and less fortunate, just like Jesus!
I'm pretty excited about it! I get to do their accounting.
