I’ve been playing the “Lazy” card the past couple of days, not really taking care of any errands or anything on my to-do-list. But hey! I’m on Spring Break, let me enjoy it! Instead, I’ve been working on my EDH deck. It’s been a lot of fun and really overwhelming. There’s such a huge card pool and the possibilities are endless. I do have my EDH deck built but it’s weak and needs some more cards.
At first I didn’t know what to do with my deck. I wanted to use Johan’s ability but it’s such a weak ability. So instead I decided to make it a combo lover’s deck with Johan. I will call it “Ca-Ca-Ca-Ca-COMBO BREAK-AH!!!”
Some of my combos:
Pandemonium & Goblin Bombardment & a creature like Flametongue Kavu
The classic Astral Slide & Lightning Rift
Deathrender, Mogg Fanatic, and Enduring Renewal (INFINITE DAMAGE COMBO!!!)
Fastbond, Zuran Orb, Crucible of World (INFINITE LIFE COMBO!!!)
Platinum Angle, Isochron Scepter, Final Fortune (INFINITE TURNS COMBO!!!)
The list goes on and on and on.
There will be a lot of synergy in this deck because a lot of the combo pieces work with other pieces as well. It will be fun to play because I’ll have to be constantly thinking about what pieces will work with the other pieces. My main goal will be to set off an infinite combo, currently this deck has about 7 “infinite” combos. Bwa Haha! Even if my opponent Jester’s Caps me, it’s okay, they can’t possible take away all of my combo pieces. It should be fun to build and play, as long as my opponent’s General isn't Gaddock Teeg.
