todays one of those days where im really crabby. i just want to stay home and pout at the world! but life must go on and i must put forth my best efforts toward each day. im excited to see my family this weekend, but i dont know how much time ill get to actually spend with them. im working till 5pm or so on friday and saturday. oh well. you gotta do what you gotta do.
last week i went to volunteer and the teacher wanted me to help this Hmong boy write his first draft of his paper. the class had to write about an explorer. my student had to write about louis joilliet-the first one to discover and ride across the Mississippi River. At the end of our time together, he asked if i would be back next week. i answered enthusiastically that i'd be there every thursday. that makes me smile as i think about it now....
johan was napping yesterday after he got back from work. when he sleeps, i have to admit that i like to bug him! haha! i like to do little things to torture him like ask him questions repeatedly while hes sleeping, tickle him, take my hair and tickle his face with it, or pile the blankets on top of him when i know hes really hot! haha i know im like a little kid. he asked yesterday if i used to bother my siblings like that when we were younger and i thought to myself: "oh yeah! i did like to bother them!" haha. its done out of love. =)
well i hope i wont be as cranky for the rest of the day. its going to be a hectic weekend, but i hope it all goes well. God give me strength and happiness to endure things which i cant on my own....
