From the Vault: Exiled

Wizards needs to slow down! I'm not against changing the game for the better, but too many changes will hurt current players.

- Change “into play” to “the battlefield”
- Change “removed from game” to “exiled”
- Change “play” to “cast”
- Possibly no more mana burn (That’s right! No more mana burn! Maybe…)
- Alara Reborn might be all multi-colored

We’re already going to be buying more cards because of the new core sets coming out every year. But on top of that, they’re releasing “From the Vault” and “Duel Decks” nonstop. I liked From the Vault: Dragons because I bought mine for $35 and sold it for $70, but was never interested in Elves vs. Goblins, Jace vs. Chandra, and I doubt I’ll buy Divine vs. Demonic. Plus, I thought they wanted to move away from the demonic stuff, that's why we have so many Horrors.

But From the Vault: Exiled is something that I might be interested in. It’s got cards that were once either banned or restricted. It looks like one of cards might be Balance. The reason why I might buy it is because these are probably cards that most EDH decks should have.

But back to my point, Wizards has to slow down! Too many changes for this game is bad! Let things develop and let it grow. Stop throwing so much merchandise at us! We know that you guys need to make money, but don’t make so many new products!

I agree!!

On Rofellos! Dang!! I knew he looked super good! I've been on the gatherer quite a bit these past few days, and when I laid eyes on this guy, I knew instantly that I wanted him as my general.

Now hearing that he's near too good, makes me almost not want to use him as my general! I want EDH to be a fun format for me, as I'm already so competitive in standard, so I could possibly be switching my general up a bit. . .

Johan, are you sticking with Johan?

I don't think I like the new terminology.

i'm not a fan of the new terminology as well. but honestly, we are still gonna call the fields of play the same as before like most of us still call standard type 2.

i'm also in agreement with the massive amounts of products being crammed down our throats. isnt that the reason we all quit in the first place? i'm pretty sure we wont permanantly quit like before, but still they've got to consider the economic times.

Phyldagrif is my general. i cant pass up the opportunity to play 4 of my favorite cards. reveillark, mystic snake, momentary blink, teferi, draining whelk. i only wish i could play red for avalanche riders.

josh out.

Like you said, w/ no official EDH rules which I think is kinda weird (unless you've found them?), I'm in agreement that Rofellos is too strong anyway, so I'm just gunna pick another general! My previous plan was to just to over extend like crazy, with howling mine and font of mythos. . .

I'm just glad that I haven't actually invested anything into EDH yet.

About the 2 big tourneys... That actually sounds really appealing! While it's a far ways away, i'll give an informal yes, i'll be there for either one of the two, if not both! Excuses to come up and do things that I love!

If my schedule is open, I'd like to come up for the SCG5k b/c it's standard, where as I don't think I stand a chance in Limited.
