on sunday, my two nieces: natalie and madeline, came over to go swimming and that was pretty fun! they are the sweetest girls. they left johan and me little 'hello kitty' post it notes all over the place. how cute! ive been studying this week (or trying to) for an ethics exam on saturday. i have to pass it in order to become a lawyer. im freaked out cuz im afraid i mite not pass, but gosh--i hope i do. this doesn't even feel like spring break tho cuz ive had to study and clean and run errands. when will i get to go on a vacation? id love to go somewhere and just relax for a few days. sigh...
so a few weeks ago, i was on itunes and something triggered me to search for tommy page. his third album was finally on itunes, so i asked johan excitedly if i could download it.
ahhhhhh!!!! hahahaha. i was so happy and listened to only tommy page for the rest of that week. see, i have the other two albums thanks to my sister, gaojai, who gave them to me for christmas one year. you guys, tommy page taught me about love. yup! haha. i have soo many good memories about tommy page. my cousin pakue and i LOVED him and even wrote letters to him when we were younger. so yeah. im really happy that i have his music now. =) i love tommy page. his music is soo good. his lyrics are corny, but i love it. haha.

i was reading where you said "my neices natalie and madeline came over" and for a second i thought, "oh my gosh.. i have a friend who's daughters are madeline and natalie too" then i thought again and forgot you and blia are related! lol. m & N are the cutest girls i swear. they are so funny and silly.
anyway... about beauty school, it's not that expensive. i enrolled over a year ago and finished half way but had to drop out.
the course is 10 months if you go fulltime and full time is like monday through friday 9-5. it's a lot of schooling. they have part time available as well.
and it doesn't cost that much at all, if i remember correctly it only cost me $14000 for the whole thing, I can't remember cuz i had financial aid help with most of it. but i know it wasn't over $15000.
i loooooved it. i really wanna go back but hopefully some day i will. right now is just not the right time.
if she just want to learn make up work and doesnt care about hair and nails then there's a make up school that is in south mpls. i forgot what it's called but it's strictly just education on makeup, it's cheaper and shorter time. if she goes to a regular costmetology school then you have to take all the programs such as nails, skin, beauty, and hair. you can't just take one or the other. i think a lot of people get confuse with that.
btw, i don't think you need to be certified to be a mua. i work as a indepdent contractor and am not certified. but if you work in a salon for sure you need a certificate.
oh.. and i attended msc (mn school of cosmetology)
