Hey! I just found out that there's going to be a $3K Magic Tournament at Misty Mountain in Madison, WI this weekend! There's going to be a $2K SEALED DECK TOURNAMENT! THAT'S RIGHT! SEALED DECK! $2,000 PAYOUT!!!
There's also going to be a $1K Standard tournament starting around noon as well.
I think the IL guys should go, it's only a 2 hour trip! Registration closes at 9:45 and the tournament starts 10:00 am. Plus there will be plenty of dealers and trading happening as well!
Plus it's being held by Legion Events, I went to their Regional Conflux Pre-Release up here in MN and it was pretty good, over 200 people showed up! Word on the street is that they're pretty good at holding large tournaments. They're the guys responsible for the Boat Cruise; a week of Magic on a Carnival Cruise Line, where you can eat anything you want and where you and others can go site see the Caribean Islands (when not playing sanctioned Magic tournaments being held everyday!).

I also just found out that Patrick Chapin will be gun-slinging in MN for the Alara Reborn Regional Pre-Release! Awesome!
