it's not about magic!

i need to blog about something that's NOT about magic. sorry hun, i love you, but i need to read about something other than jund, fairies, zendikar, and black/red decks. *sigh* haha. i support your quest to qualify for the PTQ in san diego, but i look at our posts and its ALL about magic. LOL!

u guys know how much i like weddings and all the planning that goes into it. i was looking at some websites and here's an idea from martha stewart weddings i would have liked to incorporate for my own invitations if i would have had enuff time:

customized stamps on your invites! so pretty and so unique. it would have helped make the envelope look prettier, but who really keeps their invitations, much less their envelopes after the wedding rite? oh well, i still like it. =)

since the holidays are coming up, people will be sending christmas cards and such. here's a different take on them from paper-source.com, the place where i got my wedding invitations:

i like the simpleness of the pale blue trees against the background and then the bright red cardinal. i remember at our old house in brooklyn center, i used to see cardinals and blue jays outside my window all the time....

over the weekend, my friends and i were discussing celebrities that we liked hehe. reese witherspoon was one of them. i'll always remember when she wore this yellow nina ricci dress after her husband cheated on her. she came out looking so good with her new bangs and this gorgeous dress! i was so happy for her. haha.

angelina jolie is always a favorite. i love how she can kick butt and looks super good. haha. i love how her and brad have chosen to adopt so many kids. i always said even as young as junior high maybe, that i wanted to adopt a little United Nations, and that's exactly wat shes done including have her own. i love this dress; its so regal and elegant. i love her emerald drop earrings paired with this dress. its so striking!

my friends and i didn't talk about olivia wilde, but i saw this picture in my Instyle magazine and i loved how sexy the dress was on her. i have never seen her in any movies until this past weekend when i watched "year 1" haha. (i thought the movie was okay, johan thought it was hilarious.) she is really pretty. this dress really highlights her nice back.

i wonder if i would ever have an occasion to wear a couture dress. =) wouldn't it be wonderful to wear a dress like that for one nite? i guess for most of us our ONE opportunity to be a princess is our wedding day. =D i think we need to have a nite where all the girls can wear their wedding dresses one more time! we can eat delicious appetizers, dress up in our gowns, have live music, and and and.....watever else girls like to do when we're together haha!

have a wonderful tuesday!

Love the fashion and card ideas. I am a bit of a card junkie myself so I am on the lookout. Too bad I've been so lazy with the pregnancy and all. Thanks for the well wishes. Hope we see you guys soon and best wishes on the job search. It's tough out there. Just be confident and look for the opportunity in each position. Be honest with yourself too. Don't be desperate for a job, choose the right one for you.
