over the weekend, johan and i had the honor of watching our nephew, xuying, while his parents went on a leadership retreat. here they are featured above for halloween. lol, somehow xuying snuck in the picture in the corner! we were soo excited because we LOVE spending time with him. hehe. on friday nite, my other sister and her husband met us up for dinner at midtown global market with xuying and he got a bunch of balloons that nite. the next morning, the balloons looked like this:
yeah they were deflated hehe, but xuying still loved them. johan later cut the ribbons so the balloons were detached from each other and then xuying kicked them all around the house. =) on saturday i took xuying to my friend's baptism while johan was at the grand prix all day. after that we went to mcdonalds and target and then hung out with my cousin timothy and his mom. my sister and her husband joined us as we pigged out and watched "the accidental husband" with uma thurma. my uncle frank and aunt yao also brought their golden doodle over and xuying loved the puppy! then later that nite my sister and i took him to the MOA and he got to run around the park.
on sunday we slept in and let him watch some cartoons. then took him to the mall. he was adorable! he fell asleep in the stroller and held on to my finger as he slept. sooooo cute! i forgot to take pictures of him this weekend because i was too preoccupied with playing with him hehe. here are some from earlier this year tho:
when i dropped him off for my sister i cried a little bit when i talked about how much fun we had that weekend. then later on when johan and i were reflecting over our weekend with xuying i cried again. i guess i really missed him and also i learned so much from him! there's nothing like having a baby/child around. it causes you to become less self-centered. i also learned how precious every minute was with him and how i would do anything in this world for him! boy, would i... =)
we love our little nephew. we wish we could see him everyday. =( we were so blessed by his presence in our home this past weekend. wat a joy he was!

aw cute! he's soo big now:) kids grow up fast. I cry everytime I depart from my niece and nephews too. I sometimes cry when I just think of them.:)
