Zendikar Limited Performance

MY DCI score has taken a hit from all the Sealed event that I've been doing. Before -090909- my DCI score was 1747. Here are my last 8 events:

Zendikar Pre-Release (Sealed): I go 1-3 and drop to 1739.

Zendikar Release Party (Sealed): I go 1-2 and drop to 1735.

Zendikar Release Party (Draft): I go 4-0 and am at 1744.

ZEN Booster Draft: I go 2-1 and am at 1747.

ZEN Booster Draft: I go 3-0 and am at 1766.

FNM (Standard): I go 2-1 and am at 1768.

ZEN Game Day (Standard): I go 3-1 and am at 1778.

GP: Mpls Trial (Selaed): I go 2-3 and drop to 1747.


Here are my totals:

Standard performance: 5-2 and gained 12 points

Draft performance: 9-1 and gained 31 points

Sealed performance: 4-8 and lost 43 points

My Standard performance has been pretty solid thanks to Jund, but it seems like people are finally finding decks that are just as good (look at the SCG $5K Nashville results).

My Draft performance is a little misleading because early on I figured out that B/R was dominant, but now that everyone knows this, B is often drafted by many people at one table. I do have other architypes that I draft but I no matter what architype I draft, I always try to go agro.

I think my Sealed performance is an honest depiction of my understanding of ZEN limited. I honestly got lucky by forcing B in my drafts. The ZEN limited scene has changed a lot since it's came out. Before people were saying that all the colors looked deep, with the exception of W. Then everyone said B/R were the best colors. Now with B being overdrafted, it's changing again and green doesn't look as bad as it used to. Time for me to try to catch up before the GP this weekend!
