Jesus really cared about how people were, not just spiritually but physically as well. He did not care if you had money or not or if you were a Pharisee or not, he cared for you and desired for you to be better. He healed a blind man, a crippled man lowered in through a roof, a woman who could not stop bleeding, He even healed a Roman centurion’s servant. Granted these people’s faith played a part in their healing, but it made me realize that perhaps we’re moving in the right direction.
Jesus healed people out of compassion, love, and concern. You could make the arguement that He did it not to heal them physically but more important spiritually, but when you're filled with compassion, love, and concern for someone, you just want to help them in anyway you can.
