its been awhile!

WHY WHY WHY?
why do people talk on their cell phones when they work out? johan and i saw this hmong lady working out on the elliptical with her head tilted sideways, so she could talk on her cell phone and hold the elliptical handles at the same time. it was sooooooooo ridiculous! lol. to make matters worse, she talked really loud to talk above the already deafening machines.

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO MY SON, LORWYN, AND MY DAUGHTER, ALARA!
my brother hoshia saw johans binders entitled "lorwyn" and "alara" and he asked: "are those the names you're going to name your children?" not if i have any say in it! hahahaha. (for those of you who don't know, those are magic the gathering sets.)

THE QUALITY OF LIFE
johan and i have been decorating and rearranging our apartment. i dont know why we're working so hard when we'll have to move in 4 months. haha. (we have to move out when our lease is up to find a bigger apartment, so my brother can live with us.) i guess its just exciting for me to finally decorate my apartment, and johan's all for it since he's a neat freak and would like to better organize things. not only that, he is pretty supportive of me wanting to decorate because in his words, "we're going to increase the quality of our life." *sigh* i love this guy! haha.

QUICK TIP: DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE IF YOU'RE AT THE SLAUGHTER HOUSE
sometimes hmong people never cease to surprise me! the other week when i was at work, i was on the phone with a hmong client. guess where he was?! at the pig slaughter house of course. YUP! omg, the pigs were squealing so loud i actually had to hold the phone away from my ear. hahahaha. goodness, too funnie. i love my people. they never cease to amaze me... =)

"TO DO LIST" = VERY ASPIRATIONAL
so my 2-page to-do list has been very difficult for me to cross-off and check-off. i hate that it sits there everyday glaring at me in my planner. i just want to get things accomplished, so i can check it off! hahaha. i'm definitely one of those people who write something down on their to-do list that wasn't initially there, just so i can cross it off. yes, very OCD behavior. lol. its actually quite sick.

I BOWLED A 195! ...
as many of you know, johan and i got a wii. tonite we played wii sports and tetris. i actually beat him in bowling! of course this would never happen in real life. my score was 195 and johans was 150. usually i bowl an average of 80. lol. felt so good tho. i cant wait to play some more!
