Sorry we haven't been updating as much as normal. Pajjar's been studying for the BAR and I've been busy with month-end/year-end/year-begging accounting stuff.
I'm so excited to do our taxes because this year Pajjar and I have been tithing our gross pay, which means what ever we get from our returns is all ours! BWA HAHAHA! Plus we're renters, so we get back some of our rent because of property taxes. NICE!
This may sound weird but we try to tithe our gross pay, not our net pay, because you're supposed to tithe what you earn, not what you earn minus benefits and taxes.
We also tithe online and rarely cut checks in church. It's just easier for us and it's nice to say a personal prayer and then click "submit." Yes, spirituality meets technology!
Don't worry though, we understand that tithing isn't so much as a rule, but as a discipline to not be so obsessed with money and our belongings and that it's actually a resource to help and love others with.
I think the Washington Redskins need to change their name, it's so racist. It's just that their name has become so common that people are desensitized to it now.
What if a football team decided to call themselves the San Francisco Yellow Skins and their mascot was a short asian guy wearing a karate outfit holding a bowl of rice in one hand and a pair of chopsticks in the other striking a karate pose? What if there was a team called the L.A. Black Skins?

I'm nervous and anxious to do our taxes. We rented too, but we started in August. I'm sure my brothers will see a lot of refund money. Having children helps. By the way...
...I won't ask. Haha!
