I just reserved a copy of Path of the Planeswalker at Borders for $10, thanks to a 33% off coupon. I've read most of these comics from the Magic website but it'll be nice to read all of them in one sitting. Plus there's an unreleased story featuring Jace.I think Wizards should continue to make these because these will sell and more people will read them as opposed to the novels. I love the novels and think that they're important to the story line but they're just too many and would take way too long to read all of them.
Granted the art strays away from the art of the cards but I understand from a penciler/inker point of view. To make page after page of oil painted/photoshop enhanced art is too much work! In order for comics to effectively and efficiently tell a story, penciling and inking is the best way to it.
Can't wait to read all 200+ pages and post up a review and plot summaries!Have a great weekend everyone! I know I will!
