whew. its quite scarey to think about, but im very excited. i think maybe im scared because i haven't been praying about my future and this new year. i know that ive been taking on too many things under my own control and not giving enough over unto Him. its a selfish habit which displays little trust in God.
i hope everyone's holidays were fun, because johan and i had a great time with our families! we totally forgot our camera though so sadly there are no pictures to show off our amazing trip. the only bad thing from our trip was that we couldn't spend enuff time with our loved ones. we were in dixon for a couple of days and then went to warren for a couple of days. we drove home all day on monday and thank God we made it home safely and with little car trouble! (johans engine was sputtering at one point and brakes were rusty, but all was well.) we miss our family already and wish that we could all be closer. having a loving family in your life is such a blessing from God. i feel so honored to be a part of johan's family and thank God that everyone is so loving. i am so thankful that johan loves my family like his own. as time passes by and as johan and i grow in our love for each other, we just continue to be affirmed that God brought us together. :)
heres a picture of me and my two friends, joua & pangfoua, who came to visit me ALL the way from sactown during thanksgiving. when i lived in cali, we were a part of the single adult group which i helped start. go single adults! haha. i felt very very blessed that they chose to visit me because they paid sooo much for their plane tickets! thanks guys! i hope you guys had a good time in minnesota and hopefully we didn't scare you from returning one day. :p
last nite johan and i stayed in and spent our new years eve together. we rented some movies and ended up watching "tropic thunder", which im sorry to say wasn't that great of a movie. it wasn't funnie like how i thought it would be. it was more violent and vulgar than i thought. oh well! i hope "wanted" is a better hit tonite. btw we were talking about tattoos last nite and i told johan that i really want a tattoo like angelina jolie's on her left shoulder blade. here's wat im thinking:

That would be cute. Watch out though, once you get one, there is no turning back. There is a whole sub-culture associated with tats.
