the first hmong cook book EVER? i just saw this on the news website. its pretty kool! i want to get it now and compare it with my mom's dishes! haha. i didn't say my own recipes b/c mine are just a [worse] version of my moms. lol.

we all know hmong food is never put down on paper, so im really interested in checking out how the author/chef put together all these dishes. she said some dishes took multiple tries in figuring out the rite measurements. i believe it! ive got to show my mom! haha. heres the info if you want to check it out:

I don't think it's the first, but it is pretty well done. There's a lot of good explanations/history about the dishes, some short stories/poetry and it's an overall fun book to have.
pretty cool but dang 30 bucks. ouch!
Cool...i want to get a copy.
