girl thoughts

i love earrings and bracelets. i have a couple necklaces that ill wear every now and then, but my main jewelry pieces that i like to stack up on are bracelets and earrings. awhile ago i read in a magazine that padma lakshmi from "america's top chef" was starting her own jewelry line. i thought it was really cool how she brought her love of food into her jewelry line. its really cute! i love love love this bean cuff. its so unique. my mom gave me a silver cuff from vietnam and i wear it all the time.



i found these marcia moran earrings online. i love this shade of green! its so bright and the color is so rich. i think my mom would really like 'em too because she likes jade--she even told my uncle to name their baby girl that name! i dont wear enuff green though. i probably have like 2 things in my closet that are green.


with wedding season here and us helping out a couple weddings, ive been checking out centerpieces. i adore these flowers in vases. the look is so simple and romantic!


for a smaller budget, i thought these candles were unique in a subtle way. all you really need is white ink and a rubber stamp! there are so many different designs, so you could really be creative with what you stamp depending on your theme and the season of the wedding.


now this deep blue flower would be gorgeous as a centerpiece as well, but its actually the blue flower from "batman begins." hehe. johan and i are watching it tonite, so i should get back to hanging out with my husband! he's looking through his magic deck though. picture a few boxes of cards and some decks spread out as he tries to watch batman.


wat are you guys doing for july 4th? any exciting plans? we've got a wedding and then johan and i just have to pack for our trip to LAS VEGAS!!! we know all the illinois peeps are camping, so have fun and know that we're thinking of you guys! write more soon. =D
