Yes! There are going to be hourly updates about Nationals throughout the day! Awesome! Check it out @ dailymtg.com! I think 5CC or Fae will do well. Kithkin & Elfball are strong but not against a skilled 5CC or Fae player. B/W tokens needs to evolve in order to be a winner again. Merfolk and G/W tokens are okay. That new Tezzeret deck might just be a flash in the pan, but I could be wrong. 5C-Blood is okay as well, I like builds with at least 3 Sygg CTs and 4 Lightning Bolts, that's such a simple but yet awesome combo. Baneslayer is overpriced but it will win games that you have no business winning. It kills Broodmate and hits a turn sooner and stops Chamelion Colossus, which is both a Dragon and Demon. Again, you can quote me on this "In the current meta, I prefer Baneslayer over Wrath."
My dad is up here this weekend for a class, he’ll be spending the night up here and once he’s done, he’ll be heading back down to IL to go HLUB'ing. It’s cool that a lot of people know my dad. Some of them remember my dad from the days of Maranatha. Just last week Second told me that Xf. Teng mentioned my dad in a sermon. A bunch of pastors were leaving a buffet together and there was a homeless man. All of the pastors walked pass him and my dad, who’s not a pastor, gave the homeless man some money. I know that everyone has thier opinion about giving homeless people money, but Xf. Teng said that he felt a little salty that none of the pastors, including himself, did anything and that it was the non-pastor who showed compassion. My dad’s famous yo!!!
So it seems like Carlos is part of a crew that is starting up their own church in Atlanta.
Seriously! Does Atlanta need another awesome church? I mean they already have some of the fastest growing and most influential churches in the world? They have North Point/Buckhead/Browns Bridge Church (Andy Stanley, Todd Fields, Carlos Whitaker, Steve Fee) & Passion City Church (Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, the Nockels, Louie Giglio). Does Atlanta really need another church?
