It just dawned on me why I'm not drafting M10 a lot. Granted it is a fun format and there's nothing like cracking and rare drafting a Dual Land, Birds of Paradise, or Baneslayer Angel. But it's because M10 limited is only around for 3 months, while Zendikar limited is going to be around for 9 months. It just doesn't make as much sense from a fiscal point of view to play a lot of M10 limited. But from a non-fiscal point of view, it is really fun!
PLUS! Zendikar's release date is October 3rd, which means for Grand Prix: Minneapolis; which is taking place on November 14 & 15, is going to be Zendikar sealed for day 1 & Zendikar draft for day 2!
I want to hit up as many Grand Prix Trials as possible on Friday, getting a round 1-3 bye would be awesome!
I'm planning on taking most of that week off and maybe the following Monday as well. I'm going to wait to see what kind of side events are available and prep decks for those events as well!
Can't wait for Lorwyn & Shadowmoor Block to cycle out. Bye bye 5CC, bye bye Fae!
I think Extended is going to look a little different now that the Fetch lands are cycling out. It makes a turn 1 2/3 Kird Ape much hard to get. It also weakens Tarmogoyf a little.
