pastor andy stanley went through an awesome series called "destinations." it was soo good, i started listening to it a second time. andy stanley spoke to how we all have intentions of going somewhere and doing something great with our lives. we could have the best intentions. we could want something really bad even! but if our path is leading us down somewhere different, i.e. being a waitress, our best intentions of becoming a restaurant owner will not surpass our path.
every path leads somewhere. every path has consequences. if you're not on the path that you want, change your direction because that path will lead to a certain destination.
andy stanley is such an exceptional speaker. whenever i listen to him, he presents things in such a simple manner that any lay person could understand. at the same time, the Holy Spirit penetrates through his sermons via the Word of God so strongly that by the end of the sermon, all i can say is: "that was soooooo good!" check it out on itunes under "north point ministries" and "north point church."
this summer is coming to an end and i am sad that everything is winding down. its my last week clerking for the judge and working at my school job in eagan. its also johan's last week of summer classes. i start school next week!
i think about my path in life and i remember my anxiety and worry at the beginning of this summer. although nothing has drastically changed for me as far as my current circumstances and job opportunities, i feel more at peace. when people ask me what i want to do, i just reply now: "i don't know, im just leaving it in God's hands." and then i smile. =)

on the horizon of my life, i can see that things will be immensely different a year from now...and the only thing im certain of is that God will be alongside me as He has been all my life. and thats more than i can ask for.
