One of my all time favorite songs is "Moon River" writen by Henry Mancini and performed by Audrey Hepburn. I remember watching this movie back in Jr. High and it changed my perspective on girls. Before I guess you could say that I was like most guys, we liked the pretty girls or the slutty girls.
Come on now! I'm just being completely honest and it's not like it's a big surprise that most guys are attracted to slutty girls. Anyways, if you're a girl and want to get a guy's attention by being a slut then be a SLUT YOU SLUT! Guys! Wise up and don't let slutty girls fool you! Be a man and chase after the girls that value good things like character, common sense, etc.
Hahaha, anyways, after watching the scene were Audrey Hepburn sings Moon River, I could not believe what I just saw! It was completely mezmorizing and beautiful! Did you see how George Peppard's character looked at Audrey Hepburn as she sang that song? Girls, when was the last time a guy looked at you like that? *I secretly look at Pajjar like that from time to time because I don't want her to know that I'm looking at her, but I guess she knows now...*
I wanted that song at our wedding but Pajjar hadn't seen Breakfast at Tiffany's yet so she had no idea what the song was about, what it meant, or the context behind it. I think it would of been sweet! *I secretly wanted to sing it to her but I guess it's no longer a secret...*
A few months ago Pajjar finally got to see Breakfast at Tiffany's and I think she enjoyed it. I think she was disturbed by the fact that Audrey Hepburn played a prostitute and George Peppard played a gigolo. Those are 2 pretty risque main characters for a 1961 film.
Every now and then I enjoy a good movie in "Technicolor." I love the warm, fuzzy glow of everything! It adds a certain character to it. Both Breakfast at Tiffany's and Rear Window are Technicolor movies.
Rear Window is one of my all time favorite movies. This is the infamous kiss scene. I love how Hitchcock cleverly directed this movie, this boy was out of his mind and absolutely brilliant! James Stewart is one of the coolest dudes in the world and Grace Kelly (before she was the Princess of Monaco) with her great fashion sense, looks so beautiful that she just steals scenes in this movie!
But don't let these beautiful people fool you! This movie is intense, it's a Hitchcook movie after all. Just don't laugh at the special effects, remember that it was made in 1954. One day, your child will make fun of you because of your age and then you'll have a flashback to this exact moment because you laughed at the special effects in Rear Window. It's called "irony."
Sadly, I heard that Tyler Perry is trying to produce a remake of Rear Window, I already know that it's going to suck utters! Yes, I said "suck utters," like as in cow utters, where you get milk from.
edit: I just realized that Audrey & Grace are the children of Second and Linda Yang! What an odd post!!!
