The Perfect Solo Pedal

Let me ask you a question... if you could make a pedal that was "The Perfect Guitar Solo Pedal," what would it sound like? What features would it have? In my head I picture two things... a killer distortion/fuzz AND a fat clean/gain boost.

If you take a close look at the right knob it says Fuzz 1, Fuzz 2, AND GAIN BOOST!!! YES there is a pedal out there that can cover all of your solo needs! Except Boss stopped producing this pedal back in 1997. It was made before its time... how sad...

Now-a-days a lot of guitarist have a boost pedal of some sort, so that their solos can cut through the band. And come on, the fuzz pedal is one of the funnest guitar pedals in the world. That's why so many guitar pedal companies have a couple of fuzz pedals in their product line. Next time your in a guitar store and want to buy something but have no idea what to buy, I recommend buying a fuzz pedal! When you get home and plug that bad boy in, all of the sudden you care more about killer guitar solos and just playing the most ridiculous riffs ever! Like I said, the fuzz pedal is one of the funnest guitar pedals in the world.

Since the FZ-2 is discontinued and the FZ-5 doesn't have a gain boost, one of my new goals is to make "The Perfect Solo" guitar pedal. It will be a combination of a killer fuzz and a sweet fat boost with the flip of a switch. Wish me luck!
