Cheng and Leng showed me this preview and it looks AWESOME!!!
Jimmy Page is probably the greatest riff master of all time. He’s the classic rock guy with a straight forward rock ‘n roll approach but yet still completely innovative. The Edge is probably one of the most successful guitarists, in the sense of record sales, in the past 25 years. He’s our modern rock guy with a minimalist effects-heavy approach. And then there’s Jack White, he’s probably the future of garage/indie rock. He’s the experimental guy.
I’m still not sure what to play this weekend for the $5K. I’ve got 4 options but am leaning towards option 1, 2, or 3.
1. 5-Color Blood (no Putrid Leech, Boggart Ram-Gang, or Chameleon Colossus but with Bloodbraid, Finks, Cryptic, Cruel Ultimatum, and Hallowed Burial.)
2. 4-Color Land Destruction (Incendiary Command, Primal Command, Wrath of God, Bituminous Blast, and Enlisted Wurm)
3. 5-Color Land Destruction (Fullminator Mage, Rain of Tears, Cryptic Command, Grixis Charm, and Deny Reality)
4. 5-Color Control (Plumeveil, Broodmate Dragon, Cryptic Command, Cruel Ultimatum, and Hallowed Burial)
We’ll see what happens after playtesting tonight with sideboards. I might even be more confused after tonight. Wish us luck!
