mid-week ramblings

today im working from home, so i finally have a chance to blog. my clerkship with the judge has been really rewarding and challenging! i love it! it helps that i have awesome clerks who i work alongside, so i always look forward to work. =D
my allergies this season has been HORRIBLE. gosh! i dont remember it being this bad last summer. i dont know whats wrong. if it continues through the rest of this month ill have to go see a doctor.
i decided to upload some photos that johan and i have been meaning to since we got back from our trip. nyc, boston, and providence, RI was really fun. it was so wonderful hanging out with the family. =) johan and i have just been so busy since we got back to upload these pictures (although johan has written NOVELS about his magic tournaments!) we'll get to see our family again this weekend because my aunt (mom's sister) is throwing a huge graduation party for her children who are all graduating in WI. it should be fun!

i found these cute little panda bowls in chinatown. aren't they adorable?



we took this picture when we were riding the ferry. it turned out pretty good! the other two times i went to nyc i didn't get a chance to visit the statute of liberty, so this was pretty kool. we hung out on the island for a few hours and slept on the grass hehe.



johan is so silly. the entire time we were on our trip, he kept wanting to take crazy pictures! this ones pretty kool. =p



we got some really cheap crab in boston, so my mom made it for dinner that nite. it was sooooooooo GOOD!!!!!!! im salivating just thinking about it haha.



here's hoshia with my parents. we're really proud of him! he's in MI now with my parents looking for work. then he'll probably apply to med school next year. brown university was pretty neat. it sits high on top of a hill, but its got the usual setting of a college town with shops and restaurants. the graduation was ALL DAY though. the school had festivities and activities filling up the whole day--we took part in some of it. hoshia told me john krasinski (jim from The Office) mite be there cuz he graduated from brown too, but i didn't see him. hehe. that would have been AWESOME tho!



this picture was after the trip. we celebrated gaojai's 25th birthday at this nice italian restaurant by lake minnetonka. you can tell we're sisters because of our big heads! lol hahaha. jk. my sisters look great. mitchia and i look so dark and tan next to gaojai. dang, she needs to get some sun!

well i should get back to my writing assignment for the judge! plans for this afternoon include getting my hair cut and then johan and i are gonna go to ikea to get some things. can't believe its wednesday already! take care everyone! the rainy weather in MN is supposed to last all week. bleh!

btw, i hate that the lakers won. boooo!!!! cavs shoulda been there.
