friends & family

last nite johan and i went over to minna & mike's for dinner. minna made ribs, corn fritters and mashed potatoes! it was so delicious. yum! max (their son) was really cute and he played with his trucks and his parents iphones. hehe. im amazed how little kids these days are so technologically advanced! it makes me feel so old and silly because sometimes i dont know how to do half the things they do haha.

it was really fun hanging out with them and hopefully we'll do it again soon. minna and i lived in the same neighborhood growing up and went to the same schools. johan and mike got along well and thankfully had stuff to talk about like computers, football, and sweets lol. man, i missed riley and kameron so much after seeing these pictures on geu's xanga page! i had to repost them because they're so adorable. =) for those of you who don't know, they're johan's sister's kids.

hey, is this riley's old lightning shirt? i love it! when we were in IL last time, kam kept wanting to climb things so he would be able to reach the trees and rip off the leaves. so funnie!


sigh. they're so cute. i miss em a lot. i wish we saw them more often. i hope they remember me and uncle johan as they start getting older. riley didn't want us to leave last time cuz she wanted us to push her on the swing. we'll probably see them next during christmas. =) i cant wait!!!

i feel thankful for all the friends and family that johan and i have in our lives. we are really blessed for all of your friendships! life is much more lonely w/o good friends.

well, thats it for today! i FINALLY did finish my bar application and my friend helped me drop it off today. we celebrated afterwards with coffee, cookies, and procrastination. i had an AWESOME m&m cookie from bread & chocolate. lol. i didn't get any of my reading done though! amazingly im still gonna go to class. i have no good reason not to go. =/ so im gonna be good and go to class.
