God is so good. He performs miracles in our lives every day and often times those miracles are overlooked. 10 couples donated money to help purchase this 1999 Subaru Forester for my parents. They were mainly from their church in Warren, MI, but there were some couples as far away as North Carolina who pitched in money.
My mom and dad both called to tell us kids about the car and when i spoke with my dad he said that the tears wouldn't stop coming down. man. its so awesum how God provides. it brings tears to my eyes when i think about how loved our family feels.....when we bought our house in CA, the church collected money and donated $10,000 to help my parents put money down on their house. i know this is all done by the Holy Spirit working in people's hearts. there is still goodness and love in this world you guys....
many times over the years ive cried out to God to help watch over my parents. they are people who have nothing and they've given everything to follow Christ to do His work. no savings, no security, no home, no investments. just the clothes on their back and a house that the church has given them to live in. but God has proven over and over again to me that i dont need to worry about them because He's taking care of them. its so humbling, and i feel sooooo BLESSED and HAPPY to know that if we choose to put God first in our lives, He will bless us in ways that we could never imagine!
as i write this post, i thank God for His faithfulness and love. there isn't a day that goes by that He doesn't show He is God and His ways will prevail. i feel convicted and humbled because of my loss of faith at times when i worry about my parents. but my mom and dad continue to teach me that i needn't worry....they have a bigger family, the family of Believers, who help look after them too. and to that i am so thankful. thankful to all the people who help deliver food and gifts to my parents when they are hungry and dont have much. to the people who help my parents fix their cars and computers when they can't afford to pay professionals. to the people who take my brothers in as family when my parents are out there caring for other church members as their family. to the people who donate money just in the nick of time to help my parents pay the bills. those people are amazing and i am honored by the love they have for my family.

amen! that was awesome! I cried tears of happiness:) God is sooooooooo awesome. There's not a word that could describe how faithful and loving God is. We are soo lucky.. or maybe..
