Zendikar Limited Architypes

Some architypes that I’ve sealed or drafted in Zendikar so far:

Black/Red Agro – 3-0, 3-0

Going B/R gives you access to a lot of removal. They also have good cards that can deal with creatures like Giant Scorpion (1/3, Deathtouch) & have creatures with evasion like Intimidate. I love Intimidate, it's such a good evasion ability that you don't need to draft W/U for fliers anymore. In the end, my deck will usually have about 6-8 forms of removal if I count Deathtouch creatures and close to about 11-13 good creatures.

Blue/Red Agro – 3-0

Make sure you get those cheap fliers and those Bladetusk Boars! You can clear the path with your bounce spells and your red removal spells. Your fliers and creatures with Intimidate should be able to race against your opponents. Again, I love evasion!

Blue/Green Landfall – 2-1

Landfall is a great ability, but you have to commit to it! The more landfall creatures you have in your deck and in play, the more powerful each land you draw is going to be. The only problem with this deck is the lack of removal, but you do have some nice bounce spells like Into the Roil & Whiplash Trap. This archetype is fun but is much harder to pilot to a victory because it is more defensive at times.

White/Green – 1-2 (Sealed)

Yesh… I partially blame my card pool but W/G is pretty bad in my opinion. Green has nothing but creatures and white is not deep at all, avoid W/G if you can. The only reason why I tried W/G was because it was good in Shards Limited.

White/Blue – 1-2 (Sealed)

Again, I blame my card pool. This was at the Pre-Release and I tried to build something that I’ve built in M10. Cheap fliers, decent removal, and a bomb or two, but it failed horribly.

I would like to try to draft a W/U landfall heavy archetype though. White also has some decent removal like Journey to Nowhere, Pitfall Trap, and Arrow Volley Trap, plus I see Steppe Lynxes being passed around like crazy!
