$1399; This is thee rock ’n roll guitar! AND YES! I DO WANT TO LEAD WORSHIP WITH THIS GUITAR!The next acoustic guitar I want: Breedlove Revival 000-12 Jeff Tweedy Limited Edition Deluxe (Natural finish w/ Red Spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides & rosewood fingerboard) w/ L.R. Baggs M1 Passive Pickup & Fishman Matrix Natural 2 wired to a single stereo/TRS output jack
$4,499; Okay, I doubt I’ll ever get this guitar because it's too expensive, but I still want a small parlor guitar. I totally miss having a small parlor guitar laying around on the couch. It's so convenient to just pick up this little guy and play it for a couple of minutes. I also want to lead worship on a small parlor guitar, it’s got such a unique sound. It’s refreshing when you always play a giant, booming dreadnought. The next amp I want: Vox Heritage Series AC30HH Handwired Head
$1300; I should bought this amp when it first came out. Sometimes you can find it for like $900 on eBay, but that’s pretty rare now. If I’m going to spend $1300 on an amp, I’d rather just buy a Dr. Z head. The next pedal I want: Build Your Own Clone 5-Knob Compressor
$99; that’s right! YOU HAVE TO BUILD IT YOURSELF!!! BWA HAHAHA! I haven’t mod’ed a guitar pedal in a while, but it’s like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it. I love mod’ing my guitar pedals, it’s an addictive hobby where you take an decent sounding pedal and make it sound amazing, all the while, breathing in toxic soldering fumes, burning your fingertips with the soldering iron, and occasionally electrocuting yourself. BUT IT’S ALL FOR THE SAKE OF TONE!!!The next accessory that I want: Shure SCL2 Sound Isolating Earphones
$99; These aren’t your typical white ear buds that came with your iPod. These are incredibly powerful, crisp, full sounding personal monitor systems. These are pretty much the most afforadable pair out there. If you see anything else under $100, don't get them, they're fakes.
LOOK! Even the Jonas Brothers (Pajjar's favorite band) uses them. Do you see that wire behind Kevin Jonas' neck? That's his in-ear monitor. The next time you go to a concert or see someone performing on tv, look at their ears, chances are they’ll have in-ear monitors. At Church of the Open Door, we just switched over to in-ear monitors from those regular bulky floor monitors and it's made a huge difference in performance and sound overall.
