Good Friday Magic Ramble

The M:TG Divine vs. Demonic Duel Deck comes out today. I want to pick one up because it actually looks like a decent Duel Deck, but there are two things that I am upset about this new Duel Deck. I thought M:TG was trying to move away from the whole demonic thing? That’s why they moved to “Horror” creature types. Also, I was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hoping for a Wrath of God and a Damnation to be in there. I know it’s wishful thinking and it would only ruin the value of a true WoG & Damnation but still it would of been cool to have those cards in there.

I might pick one up on Wednesday (payday!) through eBay because I might use some of those cards in my EDH deck. I plan on picking up all of the Duel Decks (Elves vs. Goblins, Jace vs. Chandra, Divine vs. Demonic) to put into my cube draft.

But I’ll probably try to get a From the Vault: Dragons box first because I want it for my Cube Draft. Plus, now that my Johan (W/R/G) EDH deck is coming together. I’ve decided to make another EDH deck; I present to everyone my new EDH General…

That’s right! My next general is thee Nicol Bolas!!! That's why I need to buy the From the Vault: Dragons Box. I’ve been wanting to build an U/B EDH deck, but there aren’t any good U/B generals out there that tickle my fancy. But there is Nicol Bolas!!! Oh yeah!!! I respect the old skool Nicol Boals but I want to use the new one as my general. I’m also going to have Nicol Bolas, Planewalker in my deck, as well as Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir (to flash in Nicol Bolas at the end of my opponent’s turn), as well as one of my all time favorite cards... Cruel Ultimatum. And yes, I will be using the Nicol Bolas sleeves. :)
