Magic Rewards

Oh yeah! I just got my Magic: The Gathering Player Rewards Card! YES!!! It’s not like I’m going to carry it around with me but it’s just cool to have one. I prefer to just keep my DCI # in my cell phone or Touch or written on the inside of my box.

I also got four textless cards: the two new ones are Blightning and Rampant Growth and the two old ones are Flame Javelin and Unmake.

I also got a special oversized 5¼" x 3¾" Spellbreaker Behemoth. I think this guy might used in Ext. I can see him fitting into a Zoo Deck. Seriously, it’s uncounterable, and it’s a 5/5 for four mana!!!

Dragon Broodmother is the Prerelease card. Eh, it’s an okay card. I’m not too excited about it. It's like a late game Bitterblossum at best. The only reason I would go to this Prerelease now is to gunsling against Patrick Chapin.

But this card… now this card is something that I’m excited about! I'm super happy that Knight of New Alara is going to be the Launch Party promo card! I’d rather skip out on the Prerelease and just go to the Launch Party to get him, in fact I might go to a Launch Party on Saturday and another on Sunday so that I can have two of him! His toughness is only two but he can make your turn three Woolly Thoctar an 8/7 or your Doran a 3/8 or your Rhox War Monk a 6/7 lifelinker! That’s a 12 point life swing if unblocked! Plus you can Reveillark him back! Put him in an Extended 5-Color Weenie deck with all of those Outlanders from Conflux and with this guy:

That's right! Knight of New Alara makes this guy a 8/8 for four mana!
